sitting volleyball/paralympic volleyball (🇬🇧)

It is a volleyball branch played by athletes with physical disabilities - missing limbs or mobility impairments. Each team consists of 6 players.
Sitting volleyball is played on a 10x6 metre rectangular court divided by a net in the middle. The net height is 1.15 m for men and 1.05 m for women. The fundamental rule of the game is that part of the player's body must be in contact with the ground when serving, attacking and blocking. It was included in the Paralympic Games at the 1980 Arnhem (Netherlands) Paralympic Games for men and the 2004 Athens (Greece) Paralympic Games for women. The World ParaVolley Federation is the highest governing body of the sport of Seated Volleyball.

oturarak voleybol (🇹🇷)

Bedensel engelli -eksik uzuvlu veya hareket sistemine ait engeli bulunan- sporcular tarafından oynanan voleybol branşıdır. Her takım 6 oyuncudan oluşur.

Oturarak voleybol, ortadan fileyle bölünmüş 10x6 metrelik dikdörtgen sahada oynanır. File yüksekliği erkeklerde 1,15 m bayanlarda 1,05 metre yüksekliğindedir. Servis vuruşu, hücum vuruşu ve blok esnasında oyuncunun vücudunun bir bölümü yerle temas hâlinde olma zorunluluğu temel oyun kuralıdır. Erkeklerde 1980 Arnhem (Hollanda) Paralimpik Oyunları’nda, kadınlarda ise 2004 Atina (Yunanistan) Paralimpik Oyunları’nda Paralimpik Oyunlara dahil olmuştur. Dünya Para Voley Federasyonu, Oturarak Voleybol sporunun en üst yönetim organıdır.

Una disciplina della pallavolo praticata da atleti con disabilità fisiche - mancanza di arti o disabilità del sistema motorio. Ogni squadra è composta da 6 giocatori.
Il sitting volleyball si gioca su un campo rettangolare di 10x6 metri diviso a metà da una rete. L'altezza della rete è di 1,15 m per gli uomini e 1,05 m per le donne. La regola fondamentale del gioco è che una parte del corpo del giocatore deve essere in contatto con il terreno durante il servizio, l'attacco e il muro. È stato incluso nei Giochi Paralimpici per gli uomini nel 1980 ad Arnhem (Paesi Bassi) e per le donne nel 2004 ad Atene (Grecia). La World ParaVolley è l'organo di governo supremo del Sitting Volleyball.
